A beautiful imitative Theodora

Theodora, died before 337. Follis (Bronze, 15 mm, 1.66 g, 6 h), a contemporary imitation of an issue from Treveri, after 337. ILITIII[...]COIROI Diademed and draped bust of Theodora to right. Rev. ACILHVSX[...] Pax standing front, head to right, holding branch in her right hand and long scepter in her left. Cf. RIC 91 (for obverse) and 90 (for reverse). A beautiful and very well struck imitation of lovely style. Minor flan faults, otherwise, extremely fine.

This charming imitation mixes up an obverse of Theodora (RIC 91) with a reverse of Helena (RIC 90).
